Induction Ceremony & Dinner

Athletes will be honored as members of the Cavalier Athletic Hall of Fame at a special ceremony and dinner Thursday, February 25, at St. John’s Christian Academy in Moncks Corner. Dinner will begin at 6:30 pm and Les Robinson will serve as the keynote speaker. The public is invited to help honor the Hall of Fame Inductees and to hear Mr. Robinson speak. Tickets are $15 per person.

The Keynote speaker for the Hall of Fame dinner will be Les Robinson. A “Who’s Who” in intercollegiate athletics and one of the region’s most sought-after speakers, Robinson served as head basketball coach and later director of athletics at The Citadel, East Tennessee State and North Carolina State. Robinson has many career successes including being twice named South Carolina Coach of the Year and Southern Conference Coach of the Year. During his coaching career, he led teams to multiple tournaments including the SCC, NCAA, and ACC tournaments. Robinson has two Southern Conference championship titles. He retired from the Citadel in 2008 and currently serves on both the NIT and NCAA basketball tournament selection committees
