My name is Jeanne Caison, and I joined the St. John’s Christian Academy Board in 2017. I live in Moncks Corner with my husband and our three children. All of our children have attended SJCA since preschool, and I was blessed to serve as the School Nurse for about five years.
I grew up in Hanahan and have been a Registered Nurse, specializing in Pediatrics, since 1998. While employed at SJCA, I earned a Masters of Science in Nursing with a Nursing Education focus. I currently teach Pediatric Nursing in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Program at Charleston Southern University, in both classroom and clinical settings. I am a member of the Society of Pediatric Nurses; Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, Gamma Omicron Chapter; National League of Nursing, South Carolina Nurses Association, and Nurses Christian Fellowship.
In my spare time, my life revolves around music. I enjoy playing and singing bluegrass and gospel music with my family and friends and supporting my children as they lead worship at various venues in the Lowcountry. As many of you may know, I consider the faculty, staff, and students at SJCA my extended family; therefore, I am overjoyed to have the opportunity to serve in this capacity. Please feel free to contact me as we work together to grow our next generation by promoting academic excellence and fostering spiritual growth!
